GOP Implosion with SOTU???

There's clearly something very wrong in the high-powered College Republicans (CRs) organization: Despite their top-down edict to get those "Finish the Job: Support Our Troops" rallies up and running, there's little if any evidence on the web that any CR chapters are actually planning to do anything, even in warm climates.

Here's the website of the University of Florida College Republicans: They have their first meeting January 25, watch the Super Bowl February 5 and enjoy tasty animals February 22. No "Finish the Job: Support Our Troops" rally? Granted, for the reasons stated in this blog, if the CRs cannot sincerely hold a rally to support our troops, in my humble opinion it's better for them not to hold a rally at all.

It appears that OYE and friends are changing the terms of the debate. College and Young Republicans are sick of being asked why they are not serving in Iraq, Afghanistan or elsewhere. Does this have anything to do with President Bush's lowest-ever 36 percent poll rating, or have the CRs just had enough? Just like our Army?

You guys are ridiculous. I support nurses assisting doctors in our hospitals (and greatly appreciate the many who work long hours to do so). There's an extreme lack of nurses in the country today. Should I go and become a nurse because I offer support to our current nurses?

I've seen many colleges advertising the Finish the Job CRNC rally. You obviously aren't looking hard enough. Linking to a particular state CR organization's failure does not mean the National Committee is failing. Why do all political matters turn into a hate fest?

So, dude, provide the links to these many colleges' CR chapter rallies....not just a weak analogy.

Maybe the depth of your dark, bizzarre obcession is not proportional to it's object?

I'd hate to be like that; twisted and distracted all the time by the possibility that there are poeple who disagree out there.

LOL! I bet every time you fart you point at the sky and brag that you made the clouds move!

I've never seen a campus with a YR club with more than a half-a-dozen members. Not during Clinton's wars of choice and not now.

And libs have been calling Americans "chickenhawk" since 9-12. It doesn't mean anything because libs have not credibility whatsoever when it comes to military issues.
