The Great Tan Salon Con: Good Enough for Yellow Elephants, Not Good Enough for Our Troops!

Well, last January, the GW students didn't like our tanning salon story as much as the cartoonist. Money quote:

For those of our readers looking for substance in this post, the question to ponder is: “what should be the relationship between young’uns supporting the war and fighting it?”

D[aily] C[olonial, the student newspaper at George Washington University] Blog now wants to point out that Operation Yellow Elephant needs to back off. Hart may have, in fact, joined the war effort. If Hart offers free tannings for vets, then, you know, why the hell not? That’s good enough for us. Though our roommate points out that the last thing a vet needs after a tour in Iraq is a tan. Touche.

Is this the great Tan Salon Con?

Is this the best that the GWU College Republicans & Co. can do? Pussies.

How many black & hispanic vets would take up their free tanning session offer? I wonder.
