Military Recruiting Lead: NASA HQ, WashDC

Attention Military Recruiters:

George Carlton Deutsch, III, age 24, just resigned his political job at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) following complaints from scientists that he insisted on adding the word "theory" to anything they write on the "Big Bang." [Seriously. Click here.]

It seems that Mr. Deutsch lied on his resume, claiming to have graduated from Texas A&M when, in fact, he had not. Not good, as AmericaBlog and Steve Gilliard noted.

This shouldn't be a problem given the current military recruiting environment. If necessary, a "moral" waiver may be available, and the military will even provide college money so that Mr. Deutsch can finish his degree after he completes his service. [Well, post-stop-loss, that is.]

So, Mr. Deutsch! You can Support The President more honestly in the Army than at NASA. And you'll know that the "Big Bang" is not a theory.

Chris-

Thanks very much. 'Sorry it took so long; I've had things on my mind.

Although as the film indicates the U.S. has the most powerful military in the world, military defeat of our enemy, by itself, is not victory. It's only the essential first step.

After winning the war, we also have to win the peace. It appears that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld in the Pentagon forgot about that.

Think about it.
