Meanwhile, only one College Republicans chapter, at Central Washington University, Ellensburg, WA, plans to hold a "Finish the Job: Support Our Troops!" rally January 31 [1:00-3:30 pm, outside the Samuelson Student Union building, across from Black Hall]; all the rest have been re-cast as house parties to watch the Jan. 31 State of the Union speech.

If our governing party cannot convince even its strongest supporters to hold a rally to Support The President, let alone volunteer for military service in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere, we've got some serious problems ahead.
