Jan. 30 Military Recruiting Lead: College Republicans "Finish the Job: Support Our Troops" Rallies

On Monday January 30, the College Republicans National Committee will sponsor a "Finish the Job: Support Our Troops" rally on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, (1800 hours or 6:00 pm [New Time], American Legion Post No. 8, 224 D St. SE, Metro Capitol South), to support President Bush's January 31 State of the Union speech. Certainly this patriotic crowd of healthy heterosexuals well under 40 is both qualified and motivated to volunteer for military service. You'll make your higher recruiting quotas in no time.
Best of all, you will have the full support of all Americans. The College Republicans will fully support your access to their rally, and anti-war leftists, and, indeed, all Americans, will fully support your work there. President Bush will be able to prove that he truly is a uniter, not a divider, of our great country.
The College Republicans claim that 130 chapters nationwide will hold similar rallies. Please help our military recruiters sign up the most motivated and patriotic soldiers with a Comment listing your local January 30-31 College Republicans rally. Thank you.

Excellent idea. I sent a respectful e-mail to Senator Frist asking him if he was planning to urge the College Young Republicans to enlist. I honestly tried to make the tone reflect the fact that I was not joking or making light of the situation.
These people really should put their asses where their mouths are.
