All Americans Strongly Support Military Service of College and Young Republicans

Attention Concerned Citizens, Anti-War Leftists, and anyone else not pleased with the status quo:

It's time to reach out to all Americans.

On Monday January 30, the College Republicans will sponsor a "Finish the Job: Support Our Troops" Rally on Capitol Hill in Washington DC (6:00 pm [New Time], American Legion Post No. 8, 224 D St. SE, Metro Capitol South) to support President Bush's January 31 State of the Union address.

Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) will give the kick-off speech: Will he encourage the College Republicans to Be A Man! Enlist!? Ask him here. [Just copy the address of one of his Tennessee offices if the computer won't accept you otherwise, or make one up yourself. He's clearly addressing the College Republicans in his national leadership capacity, so this is fair.]

The College Republicans claim that 130 chapters nationwide will sponsor similar rallies January 31, and ask all Americans to join them. We accept the College Republicans' invitation. All of us, Red States and Blue States together, can support every American's First Amendment rights and make a patriotic impression on our great country by urging the College Republicans to volunteer for military service.

Cindy Sheehan said it best: If you support the war, I think you should join it. I hear recruiting numbers are low. It's the College Republicans' day; don't spoil it with anti-Bush counter-protests against the war itself. By encouraging the College Republicans and their supporters, including Protest Warrior, to volunteer for military service: Be A Man! Enlist!, we respectfully and patriotically remind them of their national leadership responsibilities as the future leaders of our governing party, as chosen by the American people.

Let's do this right.

Personally, I think that the war is based on lies, and shouldn't be supported, which is one of the reasons why I'm not re-joining the army.
If you feel the same way I do, that the war in Iraq is wrong, then starve the military monster and do NOT join. Do not enlist.
The Bush lied to our country, lied to the military, lied to the world, and now we are in a war that is unjust.
If you are a hypocrite and feel that the war is a good thing, then at least acknowledge the lies of the Bush administration. You can't deny the bad data given out by our commander-in-lies.

I've written to the Protest pussies. Turns out that everyone who replied is a wounded combat veteran of the Gulf War.
There must have been a lot of fragging going on.

Thank you. And for those who insist that everything is going perfectly, they shouldn't miss the opportunity to add this great victory in Iraq to their own political resumes.

The three biggest lies in the world:

1.) "I USED to be a Democrat"

2.) "I'm a wounded veteran of the Iraq War"

and

3.) "I would sign up, but they won't take me"

Interesting re-packaging of SOTU Watch Parties into "Rallies" for the troops.

Yep, watching a dude on the TV (one who "Served" in the Vietnam era by maybe--maybe--watched Alabama against the Cong) is a "rally" to support the troops.

But then again, it's cold outside sorta, and we wouldn't want the little darlings to share the experience of winter in the Khyber Pass.

Iran is working on Nukes,South Korea too and Osama is still at large.
So do You feel safer than You did four Years asgo?
Will You feel safe when Your draft card comes in the mail?
I'm sorry to have to be the one to say this but War is a profitable enterprise.
The War profiteers own the Government,at least They will when Alito puts the crown on Bush and seals Your fate.
Your Mother will be greatly comforted by the glowing letter sent to Her by Your commanding Officer and everyone in Your home town will remark on Your bravery and Your sacrifice at least every other fourth of july and veterans day.
BTW,You might start saving up for bottled water,Chest Protector and NATO rounds right now because these things cost money and that is one casualty of war that the Bush administration is not prepared to sacrifice.
Thank You for all Your Volunteer work and for Your support,The Republican Party could not have done it with out You.

The important thing is that we need to protest the war, and starve the war mongering machine arm of the illicit and inept Bush foriegn policy, and the left has a proven friend and alley known as the 'I-will-not-join-the-army' college republicans.
To the college republicans, I say thank you for helping us out by not joining.

I would join but... I can better serve my country by... um... staying here and majoring in... business and um...minoring in poli sci. yeah, I serve here by organizing college Republican keggers and making funny photoshop pictures of Cindy Sheehan.

Semper Fi! Isn't that what Marines say? I have a USMC t-shirt. It's cool.

All republicans should join the military. They don't seem to mind a war with escalating violence, no exit strategy, incompentant liars calling the shots and war profiteers stealing money by the bushel full.

Good luck, give em hell boyz and girlz.

I went to the Protest "Warrior" site. I saw the photo of their sign, where they claim that war ended fascism and other evils.

What the ignorant morons fail to grasp (are they really college educated?) is that fascism and communism were created by wars, in particular our idiotic intervention in WW1.

And, of course, slavery has not been ended. Again, somebody who bothered to pick up a newspaper once in a while would know that.
