Military Recruiting Opportunity: Illinois Valley Community College

It's really wonderful that the Illinois Valley Community College Republicans Support The Troops; I'm certain that our servicemembers appreciated the rally in May 2003 as well as the care packages they've sent since then.

But did it ever occur to the IVCC College Republicans that, perhaps, their healthy heterosexual under-40 members could best Support The Troops by considering volunteering for military service? Because the are exactly the type of motivated patriots President Bush needs now.

Leave the care packages to citizens not eligible for military service; the troops appreciate them more because they are doing what they can. You're not, unless you consider volunteering yourself and contact a recruiter. You owe that much not only to the troops, but also to The President and yourself.
