Do-it-Yourself Yellow Elephant Hunting

Real Americans everywhere have heard The General loud and clear! Citizens are noticing the College Republicans and Young Republicans at pro-war rallies and counter-demonstrations and are Asking The Question: If you support the war so, why aren't you in Iraq already?

From Arizona (scroll down to "One Fine Night . . . "):

. . . a passing young Republican University of Arizona student spoke up about his support for the invasion [of Iraq] and our need and justification for being there.

This female senior citizen asked, "If you support this war, then why aren't you over there? This country needs you." To this, he answered, "I am in school." She fired back, "You can put school on hold and come back after the war, possibly disabled, to finish your degree." This silenced him.

In Colorado, a real American wrote to the student newspaper at the local college. After thanking those College Republicans who have served or are serving, and excusing those ineligible to serve, he demonstrates how the rest are The General's famous Yellow Elephants indeed.

With schools back in session, campus newspapers can heed The General's Call to Action.

Hmmm. I wonder if this same senior citizen opposed Hitler. By her logic, she should've been the first to join the WAC. Somehow, I doubt she was there.
