New Yellow Elephant: Protest Warrior.Com

Be a Real Warrior, not just a Protest Warrior!

Hello Protest Warrior!

I read with interest your account of Operation Military Shield in South Florida. You counter-demonstrated against Code Pink, a feminist anti-war organization, which was protesting in front of a military recruiting office.

I wonder if any of these ladies asked whether the under-40 Protest Warriors had previously visited the recruiting office in order to volunteer for service in our military. After all, if enough supporters of President Bush choose to enlist, the Pentagon could close a lot of recruiting offices and send those warriors off to defend America. [Nobody volunteers for recruiting duty.]

The best way to Support Our President is to let your grandmother debate Code Pink.

No, quite the contrary.

Operation Enduring/Iraqi Freedom is indeed now Operation Enduring in Iraq, but that makes the military an even tougher "sell" than before.

In other words, recruiting duty now sucks a Geoduck. [See Andrew Sullivan dot com and Hurricane Rita for details.]
