A new recruit

Now that he's checked off this part of the Bush family resume, isn't it time for young Johnny to enlist in the National Guard.

The youngest son of Florida Gov. Jeb Bush was arrested early Friday and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest, law enforcement officials said.

John Ellis Bush, 21, was arrested by agents of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission at 2:30 a.m. on a corner of Austin's Sixth Street bar district, said commission spokesman Roger Wade.

Parris Island would straighten this young man out. He'd be slamming beers in strip bars in a foreign land in NO time. Well, unless that foreign land is connected with his uncle's War on Contained Dictators. Semper fi!

He can enlist, desert, be born again and next step president.

I wrote to Jenna suggesting that she enlist, but got only a generic form letter.

I'll try again, writing him c/o his daddy.

Boot Camp is JUST what this boy needs! We have found our new poster boy. Why does the patriotism of these young republicans evaporate every time they get near a recruiting office?
