First Bush Relative Volunteers to Serve in Uniform
According to Unconfirmed Sources, Bush nephew John Ellis Bush (Jr.), 21, son of Florida Governor Jeb Bush, reviewed his options September 16 and decided to enlist in the military, despite his parents' reservations. Thanks to Operation Yellow Elephant, even the White House is quite pleased.
OK, Scott: What about the rest of the Bush clan?

College Republicans to host ‘Conservative Coming Out Day’
College Republicans to host ‘Conservative Coming Out Day’
Statesman staff report
September 21, 2005
Indiana State students are encouraged by the College Republicans to publicly declare their conservative beliefs at the first National Conservative Coming Out Day today.
Jonathan Moore, president of the ISU College Republicans, said the event, which takes place from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. today on the first floor of HMSU, is for students who are closet conservatives, to publicly show their political beliefs by reading a testimonial.
"This is a great opportunity for conservatives to show our presence on campus," Moore said. "Conservative students should be proud of their beliefs."
Moore said information about conservative ideology would also be available at the table. He said free T-shirts and College Republican membership forms would also be available to students.

Now THAT'S funny!
I signed it. Hope you get lots of signatures. It might even be enough signatures to embarrass the Bushes and Cheneys, in case they're actually capable of being embarrassed or shamed.
Did you see Bill O'Smiley said that his nephew enlisted in the military. There's and interesting clip of Phil Donahue putting Bill in his place, classic. Phil calls Bill out about HIS kids enlisting and Bill avoids answering it like Bush avoids logic.
Classic!
Billy neatly sidestepped the question, "would you send your kids to this war" by mentioning his nephew. Who is not his kid.
He was probably facing a drug charge and the judge let him enlist to get out of it.
