An Army of One: Deryk Schlessinger
Operation Yellow Elephant joins Our Founder, Jesus' General, in commending the decision of Deryk Schlessinger, son of conservative talk-radio host Dr. Laura Schlessinger, to Be A Man! Enlist! in the U.S. Army. Deryk joined in September 2004 and, at age 21, is now serving in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. We thank the Schlessinger family for their service to our country.Unfortunately for all concerned, Mr. Schlessinger's MySpace page was, to be quite frank, simply appalling and has been taken down at the Army's insistence. If Mr. Schlessinger's MySpace page represents anything other than fictitious thoughts [only], don't the College and Young Republicans, presumably without such issues, have even more of an obligation to Be A Man! Enlist!?

Wow . who would have thunk that having a sanctimonoius harpy like Dr. Laura as a mother would make the kid twisted.

It turns out his webpage had been hacked into by terrorists, according to the Pentagon after an investigation. But THAT won't be reported because the largely liberal media doesn't want to admit that there is terrorism or say they made a mistake! It was easy for me to find this info and I'm surprised you still have this up on your blog.
I'm surprised you all have your heads in the sand. I wonder who you will blame if we happen to get attacked again on our soil. Hopefully it won't happen, but if it does I'm sure you will find a way to blame the Republican party for it! You guys are good at finding ways to do that!

Shame... next it was anti-war & homosexual activist. Physiologist Laura has spoken out and didn't mention terrorists.Is she liberal media? The Army said on May 31 it's still under investigation.
