More on Marquette U. in Milwaukee

Those Marquette University College Republicans are just amazing. Some of them are already preparing to serve our country in uniform, and we thank them for the commitment to service.

President Dan Maciejewski organized support from the conservative Young America's Foundation and the local Republican Party to sponsor an appearance by Fox News military analyst LTC Scott Rutter (U.S. Army, retired). Operation Yellow Elephant thanks LTC Rutter for his service to our country, both in Iraq (the subject of his talk) and before.

But here's an obvious question: Even though the right-wing Dean Flickinger publication Human Events said that Rutter "changed liberal minds," did he even try to convince anyone, of any political persuasion, to consider military service? If not, pro-war (for other people) conservatives have a long way to go to win the battle for public opinion, as well as the war itself.
