Online Debate with 101st Keyboarder Chickenhawk
Wow!
Check out this thread: Real Americans are directly asking an under-40 hetero American male who supports the war why he hasn't enlisted yet.
From an American in Iraq:
You, apparently a military age male, follow that post with one talking about how much fun paintball is. Yes, shooting as a game, your fun war metaphor.
I suggest you apply for a direct commission in Army Reserve Civil Affairs, they need people desperately. You might also be able to get a job with a contractor on one of the reconstruction projects, maybe the new Regional Reconstruction Teams. Then you might learn that this shit is in earnest, not some parlor word game.
From Colorado:
And by the way, are you hetro and under 40 years old? Why haven't you stumbled down to the recruiting station and signed up for this Glorious War on Terror and truly supported the cause that you have wanted others to support? Perhaps it could be you on the front lines in Iraq, deflecting those car bombs with your ego, shooting any number of brown people, and getting to be right in the middle of the civil war that you have determined is the "good news."
But that would take some stones, and who needs stones when you have a keyboard?
Well, as it turns out, this blogger is a veteran who served in Iraq for one year, completed his service obligation and got out. Thank you for your service to our country.
That said, please consider those under stop-loss as well as the continuing need for healthy heteros under 40 to enlist. Can't your blog endorse military service, especially for those eligible who support the war?
It's the least you can do.

this is off topic but thought some of you may want to know this:
Ian, over at ExposeTheLeft, which used to be ThePoliticalTeen, turns 18 today. He wholeheartedly supports Bush and the War in Iraq. He thinks that HE is more patriotic than any Democrat and that he would proudly serve his country in any way that he could.
I thought some of you might want to go to his site and ask him if he's signed up for the military yet.

This is quite on-topic, and I thank you for sharing it.
Stay tuned.
"It their war?" are you people from canada?
No, we're patriotic Americans.
Operation Yellow Elephant reminds the current and future leaders of our governing party of their national leadership responsibility to set a good example for the rest of us.
Don't forget: The American people have selected one party to govern our country, giving it control of the House and Senate as well as the White House. President Bush has yet to veto a single bill. The buck stops there.
We're doing this to save the Republican Party as well as America from the growing cynicism all over the country that our 'leaders,' unlike those of our former colonial oppressor, are afraid to lead.
If College and Young Republicans aren't yellow, they'd be lining up at military recruiting offices nationwide to Support President Bush.
Think about it.
