To the University of Washington College Republicans!

Last April, your club took on the leftists to welcome military recruiters to the University of Washington campus; we are certain that President Bush thanked you for your support.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Army is about to miss its annual recruiting quota for the first time since 1999, with the largest shortfall - 7,000 new recruits - since 1979, in both raw numbers and in percentage terms. Our Army Needs You!

The best way the UW College Republicans can Support Our Troops is by considering volunteering to serve in our military. It's not enough to ensure military recruiters access to the campus. As the future leaders of our governing party, you have the responsibility to set a good example.

So, let's see the College Republicans make this satire become real news. And let Operation Yellow Elephant go the way of liberal Democrats.
