Princeton! OYE Needs You!
Steve, a new fan of OYE, sent me a tip about some new possible recruits in the Princeton College Republicans. I've decided to make it my goal to recruit Evan Baehr, the President of the Princeton College Republicans. I think he'll rush to Iraq immediately. Check out his bio:
Evan is ready to fight for a cause he believes in as President of College Republicans for a second year. He's interested in politics, elections, faith in public life, American history, and domestic social policy. He's studying family policy in the Woodrow Wilson School, and plans to go to law school and eventually run for public office. Evan will return to Washington again this summer to serve President Bush in the White House, in the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives.Or how about their Fundraising Chair Jurgen Reinhoudt? Not only is he good with money but he is learning Arabic!
Jurgen Reinhoudt '06 is a Politics major from Gurnee, IL. He has lived extensively in the Netherlands, France, and Germany. In his spare time, he enjoys tutoring in Trenton and furthering the conservative cause. Jurgen is fluent in Dutch, French, English and Spanish, and is currently learning Arabic. This summer, he will return to Paris as an intern at a free-market think-tank.Princeton has loads of possible recruits. There's Will Benjamin who could teach Iraqi kids how to play Ultimate Frisbee. Oh, and don't forget to check out Jesse Safir--the master of mystery and intrigue--who could teach metrosexual Iraqis the virtues of the Body-Hype Dance Company.
If any OYE members or volunteers live near Princeton, I strongly urge you to recruit these folks.
