Needing to learn the words "I'm full"

The Army may possibly begin a "fat farm" to help overweight recruits get through the rigors of boot camp. LT. Nixon has more.

The Army has been dismissing so many overweight applicants that its top recruiter, trying to keep troop numbers up in wartime, is considering starting a fat farm to transform chubby trainees into svelte soldiers.

Maj. Gen. Thomas Bostick, head of the Army Recruiting Command, said he wants to see a formal diet and fitness regimen running alongside a new school at Fort Jackson that helps aspiring troops earn their GEDs.

As a recent member of the US Army, I just want to say that this guy is just...just disgusting. Fat Boy will be a long time in basic training.

If some fatty or some gay actually wants to serve in the military, more power to 'em. Since heterosexual and thin College Republicans don't want to serve, somebody has to pick up the slack.

Yea, ignore me too right? I guess a CR in the marines doesn't really exist. Only the CRs who don't serve deserve your time. Why am I not surprised.

Leigh, I've asked you on multiple occasions to send me an email. I would have been happy to do a non-dickheaded post on you. If you've taken the time to go through our archives you'd have seen that we do highlight credible CR's in a positive light. So you can stop with the "oh poor me" routine from your 4:26 comment.

Leigh,
Those few College Republicans who actually have walked the walk and enlisted have my respect and support. It's the rest of them that can go kiss my veteran, anti-war ass.

I think Leigh is full of shit because he clearly puts his allegiance to the College Republicans ahead of his alleged allegiance to the Corps. No real Marine would ever do that.

A friend of mine brought up an interesting point. What do we really know about this fatty in the picture. Could he be an IRR soldier? During my first tour in Iraq (03-04) I ran across a guy who I thought was a contractor until he through on his top, it was then that I saw Specialist rank on his collar. The guy was huge, easily as big as the fatty in the picture. And he was covered in tattoos full sleeves and legs lol. Shocked the shit out of all of us.

He was a good guy, but he laughed when I asked why he got out of the Army. He said he got booted because he couldn't pass the tape test LOL.

Anyways, thought it was an interesting question.
