Gold Star Mother Runs for Congress
Gold Star Mother Cindy Sheehan, a prominent anti-war activist and OYE member, is running for Congress against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi [D-CA] in San Francisco.
This blog has repeatedly urged Americans who oppose government policies to express their concerns through the political process to their Members of Congress, rather than ordinary American servicemembers, including military recruiters, who are simply doing their jobs. Ms. Sheehan is doing exactly that. You don't have to agree with her political views to support her expressing them through the political process established by our Constitution.
We thank Ms. Sheehan, a Gold Star Mother, for helping to restore Americans' faith in our democracy.

They need to put the Pelosi-Sheehan debate on PPV. It would be a contest to see who is the dumbest woman in America.
San Francisco is a city state unto its own. It's hostile to the military and hostile to citizens and legal immigrants.
