Republican National Committee Joins Operation Yellow Elephant
Seriously.
Operation Yellow Elephant congratulates the Republican National Committee for recognizing, in its officially endorsed products, that Republicans, as Elephants, are Yellow.
We couldn't have done it better ourselves if we had tried.
Hat tip to Dominionists for Tancredo 2008.

Wow. Just effin wow. It takes a big person to perform an honest self evaluation and pin this on their chest. With so many qualified candidates to wear this I don't know who's the most qualified? Continetti? Shawn Fago? Josh Levy?
HMMMM, I'll take the easy route and say Henry Hager.
Well, they've just changed their pricing structure to offer a volume discount and a minimum order of four pins (@ $2.50 each, four for $10).
Even the RNC agrees that there are a lot of Yellow Elephants out there.
Instead of just calling for the Republicans to join the military, why don't you call for a more honorable nation-wide military draft? If this war is worth winning then we as patriotic Americans ought to support it by demanding that we have the force necessary to carry the victory. All Americans should sacrifice. If this war is not worth the effort and sacrifice then we should demand an immediate pullout instead of demanding that Republicans (yes, even those who support the war) join the military.
icarus-
Although this blog has not taken a position on the war, we do recognize the responsibility of our nation's future leaders, of both parties, to set a good example for the rest of us.
As one particular party, the Republican Party, continues to control the White House, we have continued to focus on its future leaders, while also turning our attention to the loyal opposition, which controls the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Our theory is, once our national leadership is personally involved in the fight, through their own relatives, friends and circles of influence actually wearing the uniform, they will be more concerned about what our nation is accomplishing (or not), and be more willing to make tough decisions to protect the interests of our nation.
What those tough decisions are, of course, remains to be seen. That's why we have elected civilians to Lead Our Nation.
It's not all peaches and cream.
