Military Recruiting Opportunity: Freedom Walks: Washington, D.C. and All Over America!

Attention Military Recruiters:

The third annual Pentagon-sponsored Freedom Walk takes place Sunday, September 9, starting at The Mall in Washington, D.C., and going to The Pentagon. [Registration deadline Friday, September 7, at 6:00 p.m. [1800 hours] EDT. Click here to Register.] Real Americans are also holding their own Freedom Walks in communities large and small all across Our Great Nation.

Although a significant proportion of participants may already have served in our military, Operation Yellow Elephant expects substantial numbers of healthy heterosexual young men who would warmly welcome invitations by military recruiters to Be A Man! Enlist!

While the Army appears to have exceeded its recruiting quota for August 2007 [10,126 v. 9,600], we're certainly not out of the woods yet. September 2007 recruits remain eligible for the "Quick-Ship" bonus to ensure that our Army makes its annual quota as the recruiting year closes.

Money quote:

"Not many folks are just walking into the recruiting station saying this is what they want to do," Maj. Gen. Thomas Bostick, head of U.S. Army Recruiting Command, said. Later, he added: "This is not just a challenge for the Army; it's a challenge for the nation."

That's where Operation Yellow Elephant comes in. We're the only community organization out there actually encouraging healthy heterosexual young men to volunteer for military service.

Don't believe us? Name one other.
