College Republicans: Forever Worthless

Even though not many College Republicans are still willing to have their name attached to their gutless warmongering, it doesn't mean they no longer harbor the same cowardice to cheer war from the safety of fraternity houses.
Not long after that panel, right-wing firebrand and pundit Ann Coulter spoke to the convention, and when she spoke, the room was packed to capacity. Throngs of college students came to hear Coulter stoke populist flames and appeal to the most base elements of the Republican psyche with liberal-bashing one-liners one could practically classify as political pornography. During the question-and-answer session with Coulter, one college student asked her what she thought of Joanne Herring's suggestion that assisting Afghani farmers grow chickpeas could help stabilize the country. To this question Coulter replied, "I thought bombs were the solution to our problem in Afghanistan." The young people in the room responded with thunderous applause.

You know, I could be wrong, but I thought Democrats were running the wars now....................

Let's see:

Pres. is a Democrat......check!

Sec. of State is a Democrat..check!

Sec. of Defense has no party affiliation, but he serves at the pleasure of Obama so..........check!

Congress is run by Democrats..check!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Joaquin, you could be wrong and you are! Good job!

Your buffoonish ignorance on the Wars Championed by Chicken Hawk Cowardly republicans is akin to you getting beat up and then the man who beat you up proclaiming the hospital bills from your ruptured spleen, broken cheekbones, brusied liver and torn kidneys are your own fault.

Oh, okaaaay............

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program." - President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction." - Madeline Albright, Feb 1, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983." - Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."Letter to President Clinton. - (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998

As they say in my neck of the woods: Counselor, call your next case.

When did we invade Iraq? 1998? And by 2003 a majority of Democrats voted against War in Iraq.

You're ignorance is astonishing. Would you claim Hitler and Stalin were friends because you can point to a Non-Aggression Pact in 1939?

Joaquin- again, please check out the about OYE on the sidebar. The overall purpose of this site remains to encourage those who were/are in favor of the ongoing conflicts to Be A Man! Enlist! You may have noticed how many College and Young Republicans were pro-war as long as others actually saw the combat. We just want to help them improve their credibility by enlisting.

So rattling off names of people that are no longer of age to serve is kind of useless on this site.

Wek, please!
There were as many Democrats clamoring for war that never served, or even considered serving. What do you call them?

Names. Provide them.

Joaquin-

Seriously, this blog does not care about old men, of either party. Especially not older Republican or Democratic men who cannot accurately be described as "out of shape," since they were never really "in shape" to begin with. There is nothing they can do at this stage in life to redeem themselves, so they will have to let their previous life decisions define their place in history.

But those supporters of war or international intervention in either party, who are eligible to serve in our military [healthy heterosexuals 41 or under], they are the ones we urge to demonstrate the courage of their convictions by contacting a military recruiter to Be A Man! Enlist!

Thank you once again for participating in this discussion.

K- thank you. I neglected to mention I was looking for names of those eligible to serve in uniform. For some stupid reason I made the assumption that Joaquin has made the effort to read the "about OYE" and would provide examples of young, healthy, hetero Dems who were "clamoring for war".

Mr. Wek,

Why do you think that Republicans (young or old) or "clamoring for war? I do not believe that is the case. By the way Obama is the King of the Drone these days. He is blowing up more Pakis and Afghanis than anybody. Plus
Global warming; please he is running Air Force One like Ron Jeremy at a hooker convention. Al Gore would piss his pants but he likes his personal jet too much. By the way, how can increased rain, blizzards, drought, cold weather, blah blah blah all be attached to global warming; and at that, how can it be blamed on humans? Hmm. I think it is a bunch of baloney, Biatch!

"I do not believe that is the case". And then you offer no evidence to back it up. Well great, anon, we really appreciate your well-reasoned opinion. Particularly on global warming. Cuz when one wants to discuss global warming, OYE has always been the forum for it....yeah, right.
