President Bush Poses for Recruiting Poster

Liberal John Aravosis of AmericaBlog thinks this is political satire, but we know better. President Bush has graciously agreed to help the Pentagon with military recruiting.

That's why at least one member of the extended Bush clan has served in Iraq as an enlisted servicemember, or officer at Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) or below, and should step forward to be honored for his/her commitment to our nation.

All we need is one.

you know something funny, you like to say that "its there war, why aren't they fighting it?" . . . we are. looking at the parties, I see more republican veterans than democrat. so when you guys want to quibble over which side should be pouring out their blood on the alter of freedom, you just remember that little nugget right there. high and mighty liberals . . you guys never think before you speak. try doing it next time you want to talk about abortion, or the war; since those really are your only real issues. thanks. (oh and i am prefering anonymous so i don't have to sign up, but anytime you want to chat i am game, just respond with an email.)

by the way, in regards to abortion, example: "no one is for abortion" when clearly supporting in makes you that very thing (and there is nothing wrong with that) and the war: "we support the troops, not the war" no you don't. you can't support a group who's very actions are something you have moral problems with. its like saying "i support osama bin laden, just not what he did on 9/11 (or terrorism in general)." if you don't agree with the war, just say so. just please stop spewing these wild accusations around. no body really buys it. like "it was for oil" (no benefit yet and prices climbed cause of consumer worries about stability--gee, oil is tied to the stock market just like everything else) or that "bush lied" (one, 6 intelligence agencies-5 european 1 cia and two, i know you guys hate him but slander is not a valid way to get your point across especially when you recycle the same propaganda the media puts out that is just as phony as the rather-gate documents--or in this case a lack of documents on part of former ambassador wilson). you guys can be a great party again just as soon as you stop running around like unhinged lunatics smearing everyone and anyone that gets in your way. (by the way, the final result are in on the 2000 race, Gore lost the popular vote by over 6 million, so you can stop with the "not really elected" nonsense. you guys are really gonna make 2008 easy if you keep this up. good luck.

Anonymous-

You're on. If you really see more Republicans than Democrats among recent veterans (those who completed military service under the current Administration), where are you looking?
