Dialogue with The Pentagon: Part 1

Pentagon Public Affairs
The Pentagon
Washington DC

Dear Pentagon Public Affairs-

We'd like to help you convince the American people to continue to support the war by encouraging their sons, and some of their daughters, to consider volunteering for military service.

As the American people have chosen President Bush and our governing party to run our country, let's start with them.

We know that at least one member of the enormous Bush clan has served in the Global War on Terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan, or elsewhere as an enlisted servicemember or officer at Lieutenant Colonel (O-5) or below. Although for legitimate security reasons this could not be revealed publicly while deployed, by now, so many patriots have returned home, or even to civilian life, that it's time for this real American patriot to step forward to be honored for his service to our nation.

I'm certain that your high-powered Pentagon Public Affairs operation can identify the recent GWOT veteran who is most closely connected to President Bush.

All we need is one.

[Note: Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs Lawrence DiRita resigned shortly after we sent him an e-mail with Many Questions, of which this was the first. But I'll be posting each one for use as talking points.]
