W's Depression makes the Military with Socialized Dental and Medical care and 2 paychecks a week seem like an attractive deal, despite the whole possibility of death stuff...

The military is the Compleat Socialist Package(tm) -- room & board, a couple-three meals a day (sometimes hot) and a bunk in the barracks!

I guess when one lowers the standards enough AND lowers the target low enough, that 100% isn't so hard to get after all.
