The Elusive John "Alex Davis" Maxfield

If you're in a bad relationship and wish to fake your own death, change your name and start a new life, John Maxfield would be the appropriate 'man' to contact for advice . . . . if you're able to reach him. Mr. Maxfield has another identity that we know of, Alex Davis, an aide to former Republican Senator George Allen (for purposes of convenience I will refer to him here only as John Maxfield). Above is the only known existing still photograph of John. Beside him, in the red shirt, is the recent Operation Yellow Elephant favorite, Josh Levy.

John has an odd way of supporting Our Troops- when not in hiding, he has Veterans he politically disagrees with taken into custody. During the Virginia Senate race last year, John took a dive in front of Mike Stark (Marine/blogger/law student), who was covering the event for Air America with full press credentials. Maxfield's flop was World Cup worthy and it resulted in Mr. Stark being taken away by law enforcement.

Recently, Mr. Stark caught up with his slithery adversary at a Cindy Sheehan anti-war rally that John attended as a vocal critic. In the video you will see Mr. Maxfield holding a "Win The War" sign next to the gentleman wearing the American Flag shirt. Unfortunately, Mr. Stark turned his back on John for a few seconds and he vanished more quickly than a College Republican that accidentally stumbled into a recruiting station. Not even Mike's USMC taught skills were able to track him down.

Although Mr. Maxfield's abilities at deception would be valuable to the Special Forces, we, at O.Y.E., have nearly concluded that he does not Support Our Troops at all (particularly since he won't become one). How does working against his now Senator/Marine Jim Webb, getting Marine Mike Stark locked up, and protesting the mother of a slain soldier qualify as Supporting Our Troops? Since Mr. Maxfield's blog is comment starved, it would be unlikely if he missed folks asking him to prove Operation Yellow Elephant wrong and to Be A Man! Enlist! Besides, Kestrel9000 from Cobalt6 has offered you a ride to the recruiting station, why not take him up on the offer?

I suppose a comment by one of us on his site would last about 2 minutes.

I left a link to this post over at his site (urging him to enlist), but was greeted with the following when I tried to post:

Your comment has been saved and will be visible after blog owner approval.

I'm sure he'll post it right away.

Nah, he won't post it.
He never posts anything that doesn't twiddle his personal diddle.
So I did this up on Cobalt6, just to make sure he saw it.

It seems Mr. Maxfield has no problem approving the following comments on his blog:

You have been tagged. Please go HERE for the rules. I promise I will never do this again.

But, just like his BFF, Josh Levy, he doesn't wish to engage in discourse he'll find difficult to defend.

I actually know him and can produce more photos if needed. I'm conservative and I am frankly embarrassed by his behaviour.
