Catch a Penn State College Republican

The College Republicans at Penn State University wanted to enter the debate about the nation's borders by playing a "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Game." People would be invited to "catch" group members wearing orange shirts symbolizing illegal aliens. [read more]


Perhaps the Penn State College Republicans could enlist in the military and go catch terrorists instead. They would need to lose a few pounds first...

That picture is from the same scrapbook that featured current CR Chair Paul Gouley drinking from a huge trophy and eating Mr. Tiedeman's tie. Tiedeman is the rotund fellow holding the cigarette and sign in this shot.

He has not joined the Marines or infantry since this photo was taken, circa 2002/2003

Actually, this particular photo was taken by Declan McCullagh, another photographer at the same event, an anti-war march in January 2003. Very similar shots were once in the personal online album from which the famous drinking photos were stored.

Paul Gourley is not on the right. Paul does not wear glasses and his hairline is different.
