ENLIST YOU PUISSIES
The sincere one is better and more effective, but there is still something too smarmy about the narrating voice... I'd get a different voice actor to have a go. Something about the deliberate over-annunciation of each word is off-putting and, I fear, gives the joke away. But you're on the right track.
