How the LA Times Supports Our Troops!
Your Scene in the LA Times has a great photo gallery, War Stories, where real people can submit photos honoring our troops serving in harm's way. Readers may post their own comments.
There are far, far too many for one person to thank everyone depicted for their service to our nation. [This includes Iraq and Afghanistan veterans participating in the great American tradition of robust, uninhibited debate.]
Please go ahead and thank at least some of them individually. Click on War Stories. Thank you.

The President explained the critical nature of the upcoming presidential election cycle, "The safety of our country and the world I police is a real big deal, ya know? We can't risk turning this office over to anyone that would alter my brilliant Convert-um or Kill-um Foreign Policy. "If the 2008 primary process fails to produce a Pro-War candidate from every party, it will be my duty to take measures to preserve order and peace, and suspend the elections indefinitely by imposing martial law. This is not a decision your decider takes lightly either. I thought about it for a while, and it really sounds like a blast!"
After Secret Service Agents bound and gagged Helen Thomas, the President fielded numerous questions from reporters, responding to each, "9/11. Next question."
