Despite "rumors" of troop level decreases, I still call the Tigris my back yard. My enlistement was to have ended in March this year. This is my second time here, and July is my thirteenth month in Iraq.

I told everyone not to get a red elephant. "He'll trample you and poop on what's left," I said. I hate being right.
